You just cured a massive headache of mine. Anyone got any thoughts of a way round? Replies to the usual address.
ATI Radeon X1950 Driver
First it works fine. Windows 7 Forums is an independent web site and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Microsoft Corporation. Go to original post. The search is for the graphics card from my title.
Got both to work thanks to the steps provided here: I have a feeling that this is ATI’s issue and not Windows 7, but I’m curious if anyone has a suggestion. ATI Catalyst software applications tell me that my driver is out of date and radekn update via that site.
Ciweqe Replied on September 15, Their decision not to support it is BS. And i think it also frees them up, they might do a fix for the newer cards that might break something on the older cards.

I was able to update the driver by manually installing it from the files that were downloaded for the ATI Catalyst 9. I still get errors in my action center that says “Address issue with ATI Graphics Driver” then when I click on it, it tells me I’m not connected to the internet, which I most certainly am.
Joined Sep 25, Messages 5, 1. It worked just fine. Not to mention the use of ATI coded drivers and not Microsofts own attempt.
